Lots of fun with the kids. The life guards are a little coarse but you have to be firm to keep kids safe. Still they could be a little friendlier. Otherwise it was nice and clean and we enjoyed it.
I demanded that this community center should offer showers for the community, without the stipulations. The lifeguard explained that she would have to clean all the shower stalls, exsaperated.
Hard too find, off the main track, but well worth the effort.
Our community is brimming with off-grid catchment for water. These often have problems. Here there are showers hot and clean, but the community is not allowed to use them unless they swim in the pool. The problem is that I don't want to soak in a chlorinated pool. But when we go through drought and other water related issues we are treated like children and told to jump in and then right back out again. If I wish to take a shower, but shower first before you jump In then you can shower when you jump out.
Great place to spend time with your family and friends. The lifeguards take an hour break at noon to 1pm, sometimes with no notice. So be aware.
I am concerned with the stafflaccocus issue on the big island. The people who need a clean, hot shower to prevent worsening infections. This IS a community center, and this SHOULD be a service to the community.
The lafeguards here dot want to be bothered with doing their job.
It must be tough to sit around all day and then suddenly have to go do something.
