Beautiful scenery, great facilities, awesome hospitality! Just what the Dr ordered... I hope to be back there soon!
We stayed for a week last December during our visit to the Big Island, and did not want to leave! The Avocado Tree House was magical and cozy, my friends especially loved the "Reflection room", high up in the tree, covered with decorated mirrors all over and with a view of the ocean...The hosts, Hugh and Elvira, were very friendly and made our whole stay feel like home, bringing us home-made chocolate smoothies in the morning and giving some insider advice on fun places to visit. On our last night, Elvira cooked a dinner that was so good, it could be served in a high-end restaurant.
I saw that this has no reviews and forced myself to sit down and type something up, cause I loved it there.
As for the negative sides, all I can think of is that it is 5 miles away from the nearest town, but for me that was just another reason why i loved it.
