Once we had the appointment and the travel arrangements made, the woman in the referral dept canceled them because she called once, one day and didn't get ahold of me. So all our work to correct their previous mistakes for nothing. We had to travel on out own dime, trying to get reembursment. The travel arrangements were canceled for my birthday information wich she had in her paperwork.
This is Unacceptable.
After all the drugs they had me on I had a list of side effects for the doctor. What happens next was somewhat baffling to me, The full load of prescriptions was given right back to me with no consideration for any of my side effects. Some of the medications they were giving to me we're not supposed to be taken with other medications they had me on. After all this they started treating me like a drug addict, testing me every time I come to visit this doctor to make sure I was taking all the meds. They couldn't even fix a bruise! They are what is wrong with the medical system. This place is here to make money, not to help people. It's a revolving door nothing more!
Find another place to go.

I have a couple of chronic conditions and could be considered a pain in the ..... but am always treated with a smile here.
The pediatrics department is great but the care for adults is the worst I have ever experienced. I take my children to the pediatrician in Pahoa but would rather drive to a different town or the ER to get care for myself.
I am beyond happy with this clinic. It is never over- scheduled and crowded, the ladies at the front desk are gracious, the nurses are warm and caring and Dr Meinke is one of the best doctors ever, he really listens and trusts a woman knows her own body.
The staff showed a sincere lack of care. The doctors are not real. The receptionist lack professionalism and follow through. Our case should have taken 2 weeks. We are finally getting the help we need 2 months later. If I hadn't gotten involved the surgery to remove the glass from his hand would have been another month and a half out. 2 weeks to respond to the next 3 steps in obtaining the appointment. 6 weeks + another 2 months.
