Employees everywhere, yet only 2 cashiers. Lines to the back of the store. That’s an everyday occurrence here. Sky high prices. 9 dollars for a chocolate bar and 11 dollars for a bottle of beer. This is Pāhoa. No wonder they can’t keep employees. Now they’re going to have a bigger store? Let’s fix the one you already have.
Walked into this store on a Wednesday night and it was practically empty! I thought the store was closed. Has everything you would expect from a grocery store. Prices were pretty high on a lot of things but to be expected for the area as there isn't much around here. Employees were very courteous and friendly.
Well stocked. Prepared foods and poke for a quick bite. Fast checkout.
Smaller selection than stores in Keaau or Hilo. Always busy with small aisles, but convenient if you are in the Puna area
Friendly staff and they are always fast to help. The meat department does not have a wide variety of meat, but soon we will have a new Malama Market. Overall, they always have What we need.
