Having said that, if I lived here I would probably depend on this place, so it's pretty great that it is here. Nice people too. Always happy... I'll keep coming here for another decade. :-)
It's a pretty good natural grocery store. Little pricey but they probably have to be. Foods just ok but the selection is good. Hit farmers markets if you want fresh produce.
Great natural grocery store in a small town. Some things are really expensive, but that's just Hawaii in general. Big bulk section and friendly employees.
For lower calorie options try the Spam Musubi from the 7-11 just down the road.
Definitely NOT a health food store, but a natural food store. What's the difference? Meat, beer, and a deli hot bar so decadent your arteries will clog up just from looking at it.
Excellent customer service. Majority of all employees come from or have lived in the are for many years. Prices comparable to others. Wonderful buffet pay by the pound (DELICIOUS!!!!). The best coffee this side of Kona. Fresh produce a little on the high side compared to other stores or farmers markets. A very wide variety of customers. Take em or leave em. Although outdoor eating area, much better places to eat. Better smelling too.
I love island naturals, best produce! Best food! Expensive, but worth it! Best cakes and healthy chocolate ever. Pahoa food bar is delicious, and so are there signature lilikoi chocolate cake!
