Great primitive campground in a beautiful setting, feels very isolated, the ecology is beautiful. Campers should be aware there is no water, just a pit toilet. It was very windy and we tied up a tattoo to create additional wind break. It felt like being in the Backcountry, no hiking necessary, I would go again.

Free campground!! Beautiful location in the middle of Volcano National Park. Limited shade, no fires, no running water. Make sure you have a reliable vehicle! (Walking in is hell)
